3D wire embedding technology

Intelligent Wire Structures
for Spatial Geometries.

In the age of miniaturization and functional integration, 3D wire applications are becoming increasingly important – especially in safety and comfort-relevant areas such as automotive, medical technology and electronics.

With MackSmaTec's 3D wire embedding technology, we are opening up new possibilities for the functional design of complex components.
Whether convex, concave or free-form: our solutions enable the precise embedding of wire structures directly onto spatial surfaces – reproducible, efficient and ready for series production.

3D Wire Embedding Technology

Technology Basis:
WCEvario3D

The WCEvario3D is our flexible 3D wire-laying system, equipped with a multi-axis robot guide and sensitive pressure-force control. It was specially developed for wire embedding on spatial carriers and plastic components and can be combined modularly with other process steps.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our customers often
ask these questions.

Can't find your question? Our representative will answer it confidentially and directly.

Yes, that’s exactly what the WCEvario3D is designed for. It lays wire structures directly onto three-dimensional surfaces - including convex or concave ones - such as heated vehicle emblems, sensor covers, or in-mold electronics.

The WCEvario3D processes components up to 1000 x 600 x 350 mm and can be combined in a modular fashion with additional steps such as pick-and-place, TC bonding, soldering, or optical inspection.

Yes, the WCEvario3D can be used to create precise 3D wire structures for the active heating of sensor covers, bumpers, or headlight lenses, with uniform heat distribution and high repeatability, even for large-scale production.
