The first big step has been taken: our new name MackSmaTec was officially registered with the German Patent and Trademark Office in February 2025 - marking the start of our brand relaunch.
An intensive and creative development phase lies behind us. In numerous workshops, brainstorming sessions and discussions, we collected, examined, discarded and further developed a wide variety of name ideas. In the end, a clear favorite emerged from this process: MackSmaTec.
A name that combines what makes us special: entrepreneurial spirit, technological passion and a clear view of the future. "Mack" stands for the family name of the managing director - a commitment to identity, responsibility and continuity. "Sma" is an allusion to smartness, to intelligent solutions, and "Tec" stands for our deep-rooted expertise in special machine construction.
The foundation stone has now been laid with the official registration. In the coming weeks, the new appearance, a fresh design and, of course, many more insights into the transformation from ruhlamat to MackSmaTec will follow, and one thing will remain clear: what defines us at our core will remain.
