More than 40 trainees from our training cooperation with Hirschvogel Eisenach GmbH and HFP Bandstahl GmbH carried out a tree planting campaign together last Thursday.
A total of 300 trees, consisting of 150 wild cherries and 150 red oaks, were planted on an area of almost one hectare with storm damage from recent years. The campaign was organized in cooperation with the Thuringian Forest and the German Forest Protection Association.
The trainees were divided into groups, each with a supervisor from the Thuringian Forest. They not only learned how to handle the trees correctly, but also why these particular trees were chosen.
It was great to see how committed our trainees were to the cause. The tree planting campaign not only made an important contribution to environmental protection, but also strengthened team spirit and cooperation.
