ruhlamat GmbH is pleased to announce that on March 31, 2025, it completed the sale of ruhlamat Automation Technologies (Suzhou) Co. Ltd. and its subsidiaries and affiliates (also known as RCS Group) to Centurium, a leading international private equity investment firm with a long-term commitment. This significant milestone offers numerous benefits for both RCS Group and ruhlamat GmbH.
RCS Group, a leading provider of intelligent manufacturing solutions, is a successful player in the Chinese market and has developed into an international company in recent years. We believe that with Centurium's international resources and experience, RCS Group will further expand its global footprint and become a reliable partner for its customers worldwide.
As part of the sale, ruhlamat GmbH has transferred all brands associated with RCS Group's business, including 'ruhlamat', '儒拉玛特', 'ruhla' and 'ruhlaSmart', to Centurium. We have a two-year transition period from the date of the sale to rename the remaining ruhlamat GmbH business to avoid confusion in the market. During this time, we can continue to use these brands with certain restrictions and will develop a separate identity that reflects the future direction and focus of ruhlamat GmbH's products and services.
The sale of the RCS Group also opens up new opportunities for ruhlamat GmbH. Following the sale, we will continue to develop our portfolio in a targeted manner and drive innovation forward in order to continue to offer our customers the best solutions. The freed-up resources will enable us to open up new areas and explore new opportunities for growth.
